This privacy notice for Poaster Technologies Inc (doing business as Warp) ("Warp," "we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we collect, store, use, and share ("process") your information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you visit joinwarp.com or any website that links to this notice, or engage with us in other related ways such as sales, marketing, or events.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at contact@joinwarp.com.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register for or use our Services. The categories of information we collect depend on how you interact with us and may include:
When necessary and with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, we may process sensitive information including financial data (debit/credit card numbers, bank account details) and government identifiers (Social Security numbers, EINs, state registration numbers).
When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain device and usage data through cookies, SDKs, and server logs, including:
All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.
We process your personal information for a variety of purposes depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:
We may process your information if you have given us express consent, or in situations where implied consent can reasonably be inferred. You may withdraw consent at any time. In limited cases, applicable law may permit processing without consent — for example, for fraud detection and prevention, to comply with a subpoena or court order, or where collection is clearly in the individual's interest and consent cannot be obtained in a timely way.
We may share your personal information in the following limited situations:
Poaster Technologies Inc has not sold or shared personal information to third parties for business or commercial purposes and will not do so in the future.
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. We use this data to optimize performance, secure accounts, and generate aggregate analytics that improve our products.
Our Services may allow you to register or log in using third-party social media accounts. If you choose to do so, we receive certain profile information from your social media provider (typically your name, email address, and profile picture). We use this information only for the purposes described in this notice. We recommend reviewing your social media provider's privacy notice to understand how they handle your data.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize it, or — if deletion is not immediately possible (for example, in backup archives) — securely isolate it until deletion is feasible.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our safeguards.
We do not knowingly collect data from or market to individuals under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a user under 18, we will deactivate the account and promptly delete that data. If you become aware of any such data, please contact us at contact@joinwarp.com.
Depending on your location, applicable data protection laws may grant you certain rights over your personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Canada, your rights may include:
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will act on any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we are unlawfully processing your data, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If we rely on your consent to process personal information, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed before withdrawal, nor processing conducted on other lawful grounds.
You may review, update, or request deletion of your account information at any time by contacting us. Upon a deletion request, we will deactivate or remove your account and data from our active databases, though we may retain limited information to prevent fraud, assist with investigations, enforce our terms of service, or comply with legal requirements.
Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can usually set your browser to remove or reject cookies, though doing so may affect certain features of our Services.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine The Light") permits California residents to request information about personal data disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, contact us using the details in Section 10.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have additional rights regarding their personal information. In the past twelve months, we have collected the following categories:

Warp's primary data centers are in the United States. Personal information originating in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland that is transferred to the United States is governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, supplemented by risk assessments and additional safeguards where appropriate. Customers requiring a Data Processing Addendum incorporating SCCs may request a copy at dpa@joinwarp.com.
Our incident response policy requires triage within one hour of detecting a security event, followed by containment, eradication, and recovery steps based on severity. We will notify affected customers without undue delay and within 72 hours where notification is mandated by law. A post-incident review documents the root cause and remediations.
Upon receipt of a verifiable data subject request, Warp will acknowledge receipt within five business days, verify identity using information on file, and fulfill or respond within 30 days (or 45 days where permitted by applicable law), providing reasoning and appeal instructions for any denial.
Warp does not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. Payroll calculations performed automatically are executed under the customer's contractual instructions and applicable tax law formulae.
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date and will take effect as soon as it is accessible.
