Building the modern HR system for startups
Why do HR systems suck? Why do founders need to spend 100s of hours on payroll and taxes? It doesn't have to be this way. We're fixing it.

Our story
Payroll is broken.
We were once those founders before. Every two weeks, we'd lose days wrestling with tax codes, compliance deadlines, and systems that seemed designed to waste time rather than save it.
The moment that changed everything: our payroll provider failed during a critical quarter. Employees weren't paid on time. Tax filings were delayed. We spent 60 hours fixing what should have taken 10 minutes.
That's when we realized the real problem. Every existing solution was just manual work dressed up with software. Same complexity, same errors, same time drain—just with a nicer interface.
We had a different idea: What if payroll actually worked?
Not "worked better." Worked completely. Automatically. Invisibly.
So we built Warp. A system that handles 10,000+ tax jurisdictions without human intervention. That processes compliance while you sleep. That scales from 1 employee to 1,000 without adding complexity.
The result? Our customers launch products instead of debugging payroll. They hire talent instead of hiring specialists. They build companies instead of building spreadsheets.
Payroll should empower businesses, not burden them.
That's why we started Warp. That's why we're here.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
